To ensure you have the best possible stay with us at ApelvikStrand, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

Feedback

We would love to hear about your experience with us at ApelvikStrand! Your feedback helps us improve and grow.

The Beach Houses

• Check-in is done through a code that works with the lock on each beach house. The code will be sent via email on the day of arrival. The display is located to the left of the sliding door and opens sideways. Enter the four-digit code and press OK to unlock your beach house.

• To lock, use the green button inside. (Using the handle may disable the lock mechanism.) You can also use the code to lock the door from the outside.

The Beach Apartments

• Check-in is done using a code that works with the keyless lock on each apartment. The code will be sent via email on the day of arrival. Simply enter the four-digit code and press OK to unlock.

• Locking: The door will automatically lock when you close it.

Kitchen and Fire Alarm

Fan and Smoke Alarm: When cooking, ensure that you turn both knobs on the fan. The smoke alarm is very sensitive, especially in the beach houses, and you’ll want to avoid triggering it.

You cannot turn off the smoke alarm yourself. Contact the reception during open hours or call the emergency number if needed.

In case of fire, dial 112!

Lock Procedures

 Locking from the Inside: Use the small button, not the handle. Frequent use of the handle can affect the electronic lock mechanism. The handle is only for use during power outages.

Locking from the Outside: Press the same button and close the door, or enter the code. When you hear a clicking sound, the door is locked.

Forgotten Sheets and Towels?

Linen and Towels: If you've forgotten your linens and towels, please call the emergency service. We have an extra supply available.

WIFI

Each house has a unique WiFi code displayed in the kitchen. A Chromecast is also available for use.

Opening Hours

The main reception is open every day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We are available by phone every day between 08:00 AM and 8:00 PM at

0340-86828.

On-call service

For Emergency Assistance, please call 0340-86827.

Check-out

Check-in is at 3:00 PM.
Check-out is done digitally via a link sent to your email.

Lost Items:
Things can sometimes be misplaced. We collect all lost items at the reception, so if you’ve lost something, check there first. If you’ve already left when you realize something is missing, please contact the reception. Lost items are kept for 30 days.

Free Parking:

We offer free parking for our guests. Each beach house or beach apartment has an assigned parking spot marked with the same number as your accommodation.

Extra Cars:

If you are coming with two cars, please contact the reception for a parking permit. Extra parking spaces are available subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance.

Electric Cars:

We have four charging stations for electric cars. Payment is made via InCharge.
